Restaurant Review

A review of a restaurant in Brooklyn

Name of Restaurant: Puertas

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Date of Visit: 5/16/24

Ambiance:

The atmosphere was really nice. It had a cozy vibe and comfortable with a lot of space. It was dark inside with some light. You could see well and there were many tables and a lot of diners but it wasn’t too crowded.

Service:

The staff were really friendly. They had a nice attitude and they didn’t take too long with the food. They gave us enough time to look over the menus before getting our drinks, appetizers and food.

Food:

There were a lot of different dishes to choose from which were really good. For an appetizer we ordered the tostones with guacamole. It was amazing like I thought it would be. For dinner I ordered a burger that came with yucca fries. I liked the choice of side for it. It was amazing also.

Drinks:

There were really good cocktails but the one that caught my attention the most and I ordered was the CocoCruz! It was purple, my favorite color, and the flavor was so good. 😍

Price:

The pricing was pretty good. For two it was over $100, around $120-$130. I was happy to eat there because it wasn’t too expensive, but was a good price. I paid for my portion. It was really reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food.

Overall Experience:

Great! I would definitely go there again. There were other dishes I’d like to try, and I would also get the same one another day.

Additional Comments:

The cuisine was Spanish, and there were a lot of good dishes that were traditional Hispanic food.

Rating:

I would give it 5 stars for a really good dinner place.

I would recommend Puertas to others and would definitely go back there again!
